Fine day. Before break
fast I got the 3 cases of fruit
plums & apples ready to take
to Wellington today. Nicholson
called after breakfast & took me
to office with the fruit & called
at 2.45 & took me to station &
got the 3.6 pm train. Before leav
ing office Gunther called & made
an offer of £360 for Waters property
in Bannister Str [Street] & I sent offer up
to Waters at Marton. G Lauchlan
with his car met me at Wgtn Rly
Stn [Wellington Railway Station]. Put case of plums in Parcels
room for Doll & we took a case of plums
& apples up to Jack at College &
the other home to George’s at Sea
toun where we arrived about 7
30. Went down to Mrs Annis’ &
saw brother Ern & had an hours
conversation with him.
